2010 gets off to a great start with a mention in the Jazz Research Journal’s Latest Issue: Vol 2, No 2 (2008) on “John Coltrane: the work and its legacy”, a special edition with articles dedicated to the master jazz musician John Coltrane. Jazz saxophonist and ethnomusicologist Carl Clements cites ORKA-M and the south indian inspiration in John Coltrane’s music in his article “John Coltrane and the integration of Indian concepts in jazz improvisation”.
